Fishing Clinton Lake

Hello...We live in Central Illinois but I've never fished Clinton Lake.
  If you find some good info about Clinton Lake please post it on here. I'd

I have recieved some information from friends here. They suggested to go down by
the spill way. They have been catching strippers there. another spot is by the
power plant. The water stays warm there year round. Some people catch some good
size crappii fish there.

Licking River


    Hey, I caught my musky in Licking River...which is below Cave Run a few miles..

I live within throwing distance (almost) from the river and fish almost every day when possible. Have been trying to stock my pond from the fish I catch out of the river...bass and catfish. I have some good size catfish in there now. Later all...Donna

Fishing in Conroe Texas

My husband and I have lived her about seven years now.  We use to only salt water fish at Galveston, but since my spine surgery, I can't make the drive anymore.  So we would like to find some fishing spots near us.

 Does anyone know or recommend some nice spots, the docks, cost and so forth on Conroe Lake?  We will be going out this Thursday if the weather is good, but not sure yet where to go, will do online searches. 

My new adopted grandson will be joining us for the first time.  He is six and very excited about going boat riding.  Thanks everyone...Rose/Jude
